The 2011 Edition of Karate Canada's Summit and Symposium (offered in partnership with Karate Ontario) has been a resounding success, assembling approximately 100 participants, ranging from competitive athletes to coaches, club instructors and national or international referees. Karate Canada once again wishes to thank the WKF for its support of this very beneficial event, as well as its special guests, Mr Con Kassis and Mr Antonio Oliva-Seba, and our expert speakers Ms Suzanne Jean, Mr Jim Morrison, Mr Dragan Kljenak and Mr Zvonko Celebija. Furthermore, we wish to salute the work of our Technical Committee, who have proceeded with several Dan examinations over the weekend, and to sincerely thank our volunteers for their generous contribution to this event. We will soon issue a survey to all participants in order to collect feedback in hopes that this will enable us to further improve the format of the event for an even more successful edition in 2012 (tentatively scheduled for October 13-14). We look forward to greeting all of you again next year for this memorable event!
